SHORT BIO

Sojun is a Vermont-based DJ crafting immersive, emotionally resonant dancefloor experiences that move between techno, UK garage, and leftfield club sounds.

With a background as a guitarist and songwriter, his sets are less about chasing drops and more about building a feeling — weaving together rhythm, texture, and space into something alive, dynamic, and deeply human.

Whether playing a laid-back café set, a packed dancefloor, or a late-night underground room, Sojun reads the energy of the space and responds in real time — treating the audience as the instrument and the set as a shared experience.

LONG BIO

Sojun is a Vermont-based DJ and musician exploring the deeper edges of dance music — where techno, UK garage, breakbeat, and leftfield electronic sounds intersect.

A noise rock guitarist and songwriter, he brings a musician’s sensitivity to the decks: pacing, dynamics, tension, and release are at the core of his approach. His sets unfold like a journey rather than a playlist — moving from spacious, atmospheric textures into swung rhythms, bass weight, and moments of unexpected intensity.

Rather than sticking to a single genre, Sojun follows feeling and flow. A set might drift from dubby techno into 2-step garage, touch on ambient or breakbeat territory, and return again — always guided by what the room needs in that moment.

His approach is rooted in connection:

  • connection to sound

  • connection to the crowd

  • connection to something just beneath the surface of the music

Whether warming up a room, building a dancefloor, or closing out the night, he creates spaces where people can settle in, let go, and experience something deeper than just “a good set.”
